Our Client, a well known Real Estate Agency is looking to hire a committed young, vibrant individual to join their team.
Job Title: Estate surveyor
Job Description:
•Value properties by applying expert knowledge and awareness of the local property market;
•Take accurate measurements of sites and premises;
•Assess the impact of a major development in terms of economic viability and environmental impact;
•Leading and sales of properties under company management;
•Visit sites at all stages of development, from green field to foundations and completed buildings;
•Write detailed reports on property for purposes such as investment potential, valuations for mortgages and other purposes, marketability and building surveys;
•Negotiate with confidence, orally and in writing, on issues such as property purchase;
•Sell and buy properties and sites on behalf of clients;
•Apply appropriate law for clients’ negotiations and enforce health and safety regulations;
•Assess properties for business rates, capital taxation, acquisitions and disposals;
•Manage large property portfolios for clients and advise them on the purchase and sale of individual investments;
•Work closely with other property professionals, solicitors, partners and other professional/technical staff on the use of land and buildings.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
•A B.Sc/HND holder of Estate Management with 1 or no work experience in agency, management, sales and marketing and management of company’s property.
•Higher degree will be an added advantage.
•Excellent customer service skills and good analytical skills with proven experience
•Ability to work on own initiative; effective problem solver and decision maker
•Good negotiation skills and commercially minded to exploit opportunities
•Efficient communication skills and business relationship management
